The team at Marshall's in fantastic. I waited until the last minute to get my ring resized for my wedding and they not only resized it for me but also replaced a missing diamond. They really treat you like family and I can't wait to go there for all my jewelry needs from now on.
Stopped in today for to get an appraisal. The gentleman that helped me gave me great advice and cleaned the ring, and my I my diamond!! So helpful. I really appreciated his knowledge and honesty.
I went in to Marshall's Jewelers this week to get an engagement ring resized. I bought it online and I just didn't want to pay to send it back to Blue Nile and wait a long time. I just proposed over the weekend so naturally my fiance doesn't want to give up the ring for a couple weeks. I wanted to find a jeweler that did their own work in the same location to expedite the process. I called a Jared's since they too have a shop and they said there would be a 5-day turnaround and that they couldn't guarantee the time-frame. On Tuesday I explained to Mark Burns at Marshall's Jewelers that I would really need the ring back by Saturday so my fiance could show all of her friends over the weekend. Mark Burns made a point of confirming that this was doable with the repair jeweler who works on-site. They confirmed that they could have it done in my time frame. I got a call on Thursday that the ring was completed and available for pickup (2 days later). I cannot see any evidence of a resize/repair on this ring. It looks fantastic. While the resize price was a bit higher than Jared's I recommend Marshall's for any repairs because they seem to be the only independent shop in the area that does their repairs on-site with a repair jeweler who has MANY years of experience. The ability to work within my time constraints was the most impressive and made me feel like a person rather than a number. They also reassured me that I am leaving with the same diamond I dropped off by writing a very detailed description of the ring on the receipt before and after. Finally, they didn't make me feel bad for deciding to purchase the engagement ring online and were generally interested in why I chose online over in-store. Overall - A fantastic experience. I intend to be back for future resizing/service (just hopefully not too soon!).
