The Sushi has been improving, but since they've had turnover in the department and the fish quality has fallen (mostly Tuna again), there are many products that I won't buy. It looks like many of the "made in advance" supplies at other supermarkets. Again, not a compliment.
This is very conveniently located to where I live now. It's always an enjoyable shopping experience whenever I go. The people who work there are friendly and helpful.
There is a girl named Haley working for you in customer service and should be fired immediately. She should never answer a phone again. She's sound dumb, probably looks dumb, and isn't professional in the slightest bit. FIRE HER!!!!!!! Awful, this girls voice sounds like nails on a chalk bored. Food isn't bad, good sandwiches. Fire Haley.
Great food such as pizza and sushi, also a healthy grocery store just outside of Cape Cod!
I hope they wake up and improve the store, because if a Wegmans or other high quality competitor comes to the area, this store will be in trouble.
The lost points are for the seafood counter and sushi. For the past several months, the selection at the seafood counter has been poor. It's not the fault of the people working there - they are very knowledgeable and skilled. Living in New England, there is a lot of in season seafood - striped bass and tuna as examples - that never made it to the store. The quality is no better than any large supermarket, and that's not a compliment.
Great stuff for the wealthy. With the high quality and low prices of Market Basket, there is no reason to go to a Whole Foods. Maybe Amazon will change that. You'd have to take out a mortgage to buy meat at Whole Foods. Really? My chicken does not have to come with a name and resume.
I sent the WF manager a message about this a couple of months ago, and never heard back. Which is as disappointing as the store. Overall, the selection is good and they've done a remodel on prepared foods.
